However, Novato another recent California common chondrite fall would be quickly bought up if it was offered at $300 a gram. I know, I would be doing the buying. That is If you were to attempt to acquire a tiny fragment from any person or university. However, it's highly likely that they'd not even sell at that price. And yes, I can easily hold the combined total weight of all California falls (2.1 kilos) kilos in one hand.
