Lunar and Martian meteorites have considerable diversity and one price doesn't fit all. Imagine if collectors based their prices on the cheapest Pallasite which is about a $1.00 a gram and tried to apply this same price to Esquel. 16 kilograms, is that all? There are several metric tons of gold and diamonds being mined every year. $60.00 a barrel for oil which still translate to over $3.00 a gallon at the pump. Oil is a commodity which is largely controlled by the producers. Anybody trying to commoditize meteorites is out of touch, Adam Received on Sat 30 May 2015 11:20:25 AM PDT |
