Marc and List,
We have earwitness reports for what they are worth. Two persons reported that the sound seemed to come from the w / MW as it made the windows rattle on that side.
The sky was overcast and at 1630 or so not many are going to be looking up. Thanks. Dirk...Tokyo

True! Sorry; what I meant to say was that there are no eyewitness reports
-=of an actual meteor=-. Unless I?ve missed something, this is true for
all eyewitness reporting sites.
