We were harpooned by Proud Tom as well.. the "Hoola Hupe's"
I also found 'his' posts funny and never got to a bad level when 'he'
Lampooned someone. I also do not understand the hostility...

If you find a source for the copies, let me know as I believe it is part of
history! ;-)

Members who joined AFTER Proud Tom stopped posting.
They ask me who he was, what he did, why he is on my
List of "Meteorite Friends" listed as: "Proud Tom, Meteorite

        So, for those who haven't asked yet, here is a sample
Response to said inquiries:

        If you only knew! Proud Tom released a series of web sites
Lampooning EVERYONE.

        I was hit as hard as anyone, but I thought he was hysterical.
My sense of humor made me believe he is a friggin comic genius -
While more than a few turned into sour faces as though someone
Had shoved a bitter lemon into their mouths - like some of the old,
frustrated Nuns I used to have in grammar school! (Some people take
themselves WAY too seriously!)

        BTW: "Meteorite Crusader & Stud Muffin." was the title he
Bestowed upon himself. I just printed what he sent in. (If you aren't
On the Meteorite Friends list - just send me your head shot and name -
It makes it easy for all list members to "see" with whom they are
communicating)

        MANY people have believed I am Proud Tom - I wish I were as
clever as he. His lampoons were priceless.

PS: QUESTION FOR ALL:

        Does anyone out there have copies of Proud Tom's old Web Sites???
It was a long time ago and way before I learned the incredibly simple
Task of retrieving a web page and saving it. (on a Mac it is
"apple-shift-F3" and you have whatever is "up" on your screen as a JPG
On your desktop)

        Now I am hoping SOMEONE did save these old posts. If so,
I would be most grateful if you would email them to me (probably in JPG
Format would work best).
