It's probably not a meteorite if you define a meteorite as a solid piece of debris, from such sources as asteroids or comets, that originates in outer space and survives its impact with the Earth's surface. However, maybe it's a "terrestrial" meteorite. I guess man made space junk may fall into the same category since some of that can have fusion crust and flow lines. When examined it shows a celestial age of a few million years and a relatively short formation age. More examination shows it to be a stone formed on earth, ejected into space and returned here. Is it meteorite or a meteorwrong. Or something in between? > ______________________________________________ > > Visit the Archives at http://www.meteorite-list-archives.com > Meteorite-list mailing list > Meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com > http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list -- Rock On!
