Provenance from Joe Schmoe on eBay - minimal difference. Provenance from a world-famous institution or museum - major difference. Provenance from a respected collector - big difference. Also, size matters but so does condition and type of specimen - whole slice, part slice, endcut, slice with crust, slice without crust, oxidized or fresh, oriented or other aesthetic features, etc. Best regards, MikeG -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Web - http://www.galactic-stone.com Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/galacticstone Twitter - http://twitter.com/galacticstone Pinterest - http://pinterest.com/galacticstone ------------------------------------------------------------- On 9/9/13, Sean Brooks <shockwaveroxx at gmail.com> wrote: > Hello List ; > > > I'm trying to find the current fair market values ( > ppg ) on a few small pieces ( under 10 grams) of material with > provenance.
