it is a terrible deal, seems like a very serious crime regardless of the circumstances. UPS can get into serious trouble and be sued for releasing the crate to third party if they were not on the invoice as a shipper or consignee. One can not just go in and ask to get a crate out unless you are the shipper.
This is worrisome news for all involved and for our meteorite community.
