Stefan, List,

That is an amazing find and I hope it proves to be from Mercury. I
can't wait to see more pictures.

Thanks for sharing.

Subject: [meteorite-list] NWA 7325 - sensational new find, a piece of
Mercury?

Dear list members,

please allow me to announce a new, sensational meteorite find from the
Sahara desert. NWA 7325 seems to be a completely new type of
achondrite.
Among all the thousands of meteorite finds and falls is not a single
comparable meteorite. NWA 7325 was classified by Dr. Anthony Irving,
who has
written an exciting report about it. Here is the link to his report:
http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2013/pdf/2164.pdf

In the coming days I would like to post some interesting photos of NWA
7325.
Pieces are covered with a light-green crust (partly vesicular) which is
absolutely amazing.

Best regards,
Stefan
