The word "trajet du m?t?ore" (in the figure caption) literary means "path of the meteor". Though, in French, "meteore" does not designate a meteorite but a meteor (meteoric phenomenon, such as rain, hail, gale, thunder, lightning....) But you are also free to collect paintings of terrestrial meteoric (not meteoritic) phanomena of course....
