Landon Curt Noll is an avid local amateur astronomer (Founding President of the Group 70 Project),
former Vice-Mayor of Sunnyvale, Computer Scientist and Prime Number guru (holding or co-holding
8 world records in Prime Number calculation). He has seen numerous eclipses, and has searched
for Vulcanoids (asteroids inside Mercury's orbit) on several eclipse trips. See
