Hi List,

I want to offer two of my main collection pieces for sale:

1) 82g pristine, truly 100% crusted (no chipping at all), early Bassikounou

This beautiful specimen, of the 16 October 2006 Mauritanian Fall, was an
early find, that can be found under number 73 in the splendid Catalog:
"The Bassikounou Meteorite Fall - Descriptive Catalog of the Recovered
Masses" by Svend Buhl & Matthias Baermann:

A special feature is a small white crystal popping out of the crust. The
crystal itself has some shiny crust.

2) 299g super fresh NWA 6173 L4 Main Mass

NWA 6173 is stuffed with fantastic fresh chondrules.

High resolution photographs of the Main Mass and some slices can be found
here:
(note: the slices are not available for sale anymore)
http://alturl.com/7cded (3.9MB)

A "must see" is this microscope photograph of typical fresh chondrules in
one of the slices:

These specimens will go to the highest reasonable offer I will receive
within the next two days.

Thanks,
Rob Lenssen
