Hi Cheikhalhoussein and List,

Yes, I agree, USA does have a history of assassinations of famous
people and officials. You could add Mark David Chapman December 8,
1980 who killed John Lennon, or April 4, 1968 when James Earl Ray
killed the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Unfortunately, too many people
and governments think it is an acceptable way to change things, when
all it does is continue a cycle of violence.

I had heard that the shooting in Mauritania was an "accident", but if
it was intentional, could this been the first signs of another coup
about to happen? And if so, would Mauritania stay friendly with the
West and Morocco, or would it move closer to the conservative
Islamists? The former would be good for meteorite trading, and the
latter could be very bad for meteorites.

Be careful when out hunting and stay safe! :)
