Hi Mike and List,

Yes. Donations to a 503.c1 (charitable, non-profit) organization of a meteorite that has been appraised by an IRS acceptable appraiser, such as Dr. Ted Bunch, are deductible from the reportable gross income of a taxpayer in the same year as the donation.
