Hi everyone,
I took a quick shot of the narrow sliver of crust on my bit of
Sutter's Mill. To the eyeball with no magnification, it appears finely
stippled. In the scope at 30x it's a frothy, bubbly lava. Gorgeous!

The width of the photo is about 1.5-2mm.
