You are quite the meteorite hunter. I super congratulations to you. I hope you can find more from the same fall. An image of the interior can be seen here. http://s934.photobucket.com/albums/ad190/alienrockfarm/New%20Meteorite%20Find/ I'm not sure what to make of the crack down the middle and the idea of a dual litho. Comments are encouraged! As I mentioned in the original post, it doesn't 'appear' to be paired with the other meteorites we've found in the area. Now that I've seen the inside I would still hold that belief. The exterior and interior of this stone looks different than both the possible IMB material and T. Parkers cold find from the area, the latter having very well defined chondrules, and it looks different on the exterior as well. Only lab results can tell us for sure, but visually speaking I'd say no relation. Happy Hunting! Sincerely, Larry Atkins IMCA # 1941 Ebay alienrockfarm -----Original Message----- From: Bernd V. That's a particularly nice cold find because it shows something I would call a dichotomy: two halves separated by a "dividing line" right through the middle! http://s934.photobucket.com/albums/ad190/alienrockfarm/New%20Meteorite%20Find/ Thanks for sharing with us!
