And thanks also to Dr. Korotev for donating his time to analyze the bogus samples. As you said, the damage is done, and the market is contaminated with fake specimens. I would recommend that anyone who bought one of these displays to contact eBay about it, and to file a PayPal dispute case to freeze the scammer's funds. If anyone bought one of these bogus displays, please contact me via email and I will offer a genuine Moon or Mars display at a 40% discount off my published price, on one condition - you take the bogus display and smash it with a hammer and email me a photo of the destroyed fake. :) Best regards, MikeG -- ----------------------------------------------------------- Galactic Stone & Ironworks - MikeG Web: http://www.galactic-stone.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/galacticstone Twitter: http://twitter.com/GalacticStone RSS: http://www.galactic-stone.com/rss/126516 ----------------------------------------------------------- On 6/6/12, info at moonmarsrocks.com <info at moonmarsrocks.com> wrote: > As was previously reported in this forum last month, ebay seller > steelhorse1994 was dumping fake moon and mars rock displays on > unsuspecting buyers through ebay listings for over a year.
