NWA 7306 CO3 (S2, W0/1)
A 54.68g lot of 3 stones was purchased from a Moroccan dealer from Zagora in March 2011. The meteorite was cut by Montana Meteorite Laboratory and a sample submitted to Dr Tony Irving for analysis toward classification. He reports the meteorite is a fresh CO3 carbonaceous chondrite with unusually abundant matrix composed of tiny chondrules (some with dust rims) and sparse mineral fragments (olivine, orthopyroxene) are set in an abundant, black, very fine grained matrix composed of unresolvable mafic silicates, abundant troilite (some in polycrystalline clusters) and taenite. Olivine (in chondrules Fa3.4-4.3; angular grain Fa32.1), orthopyroxene (in chondrules Fs1.8-3.0Wo1.4-0.9; angular grain Fs7.7Wo3.7).

NWA 7307 CK4 (S2, W1/2)
An 80.17g fusion crusted stone was purchased from a Moroccan dealer at the Tucson Gem & Mineral show in February 2012. The meteorite was cut by Montana Meteorite Laboratory and a sample submitted to Dr Tony Irving for analysis toward classification. He reports the meteorite is Composed of separated chondrules in a recrystallized matrix containing stained chromian magnetite. Olivine (Fa29.3?0.0), orthopyroxene (Fs24.8-25.0Wo0.6).

NWA 7308 LL3.6 (S2, W1/2)
A single wind abraded 264g stone was purchased from a Moroccan dealer at the Tucson Gem & Mineral show in February 2012. The stone was cut by Montana Meteorite Laboratory and a sample submitted to Dr Tony Irving for analysis toward classification. Dr Irving describes this meteorite as having closely-packed, medium to large chondrules with some interstitial altered metal. Olivine (Fa19.6-40.1; Cr2O3 in ferroan examples is 0.03-0.05 wt.%, mean 0.04 wt.%, s.d. 0.01 wt.%, N = 6), orthopyroxene (Fs4.2-22.4Wo0.2-1.0), subcalcic augite (Fs17.7-18.2Wo35.3-32.9). This is a nice unequilibrated chondrite, featuring well-defined chondrules.

NWA 7309 CM2 (S2,W1)
A 36.23g fresh fusion crusted stone was purchased from Agadir, Morocco in March 2012. The meteorite was cut by Montana Meteorite Laboratory and a sample submitted to Dr Tony Irving for analysis toward classification. He reports the meteorite consists of small chondrules, some mineral fragments and sparse, fine grained CAI in a very dark, slightly stained matrix containing cronstedtite-tochilinite and minor pentlandite. Olivine (Fa0.5-43.9), orthopyroxene (Fs1.2-1.3Wo2.6-0.9), clinopyroxene (Fs4.1Wo39.6). This is my third CM, the freshest yet, and a beautiful representation of a CM2 carbonaceous chondrite, featuring stunning chondrules and Calcium Aluminum Inclusions (CAI) throughout the matrix. ONLY TWO PIECES LEFT!
