Aloha meteorite afficianados,

I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday season and that the new year brings you health, happiness and good fortune.

Speaking of good fortune, the Big Kahuna has been blessed with the good fortune of acquiring a beautiful 40g carbonaceous chondrite in September 2011. The stone was cut by Montana Meteorite Laboratory and a sample sent to Dr Tony Irving for analysis toward classification. The prepared slices remind me of my other CM2, NWA 6720 (http://bigkahuna-meteorites.com/NWA6720.html), in that it has a similar greenish tint to the matrix filled with small chondrules and CAIs.
