Eyes, as in eye-witness. Sorry. I would, however, be impressed if you
were sitting at a radar console and saw the signal in real time!

I haven't seen any falls with my own eyes, but I've "seen" 5-6 meteorite falls on weather radar within minutes or hours of each fall. Sutter's Mill, Mifflin, Grimsby, Lorton, "Ash Creek", and now what appears to be a new fall in Nevada. That last one is particularly relevant - I believe based on my experience with other falls that I "see" meteorites that fell only a few days ago, but as of the time of this writing no one has actually "seen" meteorites first-hand (or at least reported it yet).

How many recovered meteorite falls have you (A) witnessed to fall or (B) have fallen within, say, 30 km of your location at the time of fall? My fall number (A+B) is a pathetic 0+1=1. I wonder what the record is in each category and for the total?
