The Frog Leg Festival in Fellsmere, Florida, a 4 day event every year in January, has more that 80,000 attendees and serves over 7000 frog leg dinners. You can get frog legs more or less everywhere along the Gulf coast from Florida to Texas, with a certain rivalry between the state of Florida and the environs of New Orleans as to the relative superiority of their respective frog legs Frog legs are available anywhere along the lower and central Mississippi River valley as well. I loan you my gig if you want to get you some... In 1907, James Scott even wrote a Frog Legs Rag, published in St. Louis: http://library.umkc.edu/spec-col/club-kaycee/JAZZNOTE/froglegs.htm Sterling K.
