Even irons can get sharp shrapnel. But the warning does sound a bit lame. Guess the "radioactive wait for the men in black" excuse doesn't work any more. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Murray <mikebevmurray at gmail.com> To: Meteorite-list <Meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com> Sent: Sat, Sep 24, 2011 11:16 pm Subject: [meteorite-list] Sharp edges on space debris? List, I was reading a short article on the UARS where it was mentioned there could be sharp edges on the debris. Some kind of a safety warning I guess. Really? Sharp edges, even after ablation?
