I see visions of a spinning Vesta grinding against another twin, gouging grooves in a dance....a low gravity parlay perhaps analogous to a high-school bump and grind, the two spinning against each other....which begs the obvious question: where is the partner in grind?? Should we not expect to eventually find trailing remnants of both in those tell-tale grooves? -Richard Montgomery ----- Original Message ----- From: <lebofsky at lpl.arizona.edu> To: "Mike Hankey" <mike.hankey at gmail.com> Cc: "meteoritelist" <meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2011 12:54 PM Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] new vesta video > Hi Mike: > > I assume that you meant to say slick (hope that I am not putting words in > your mouth). > > I have played this video several times and it is clear how much can be > said about Vesta by the narrator without giving any scientific > interpretation of it!
