You are right, of course.

I'm quite sure that this photo was just chosen for illustration purposes.
I never actually thought that this was an authentic photo taken on September 1 in the Ukraine.
I suppose they haven't got any photos or videos yet. Thus the media did what they always do:
they use images and videos wherever they can find them on the web, even fake ones.
