The measured high density of Lutetia also supports an enstatite composition.
And Lutetia is covered with a regolith, estimated to be 3km thick!
Lutetia is very old too, and probably darkened naturally through long
term solar exposure. Both of these factors can contribute to a lower
albedo compared to enstatite meteorites on earth.
