For me personally, if I were to go through all the effort of making the
video, in addition to spending a bucket-load of money on a special meteorite
that deserves such a video, I would want to plant it on my own web site. The
only side benefit that I can think of is the matter of server space on your
own web site. If that is the only consideration, I would definitely put them
on my own web site as storage space is so cheap now!

I better go now before I make an asteroid of myself! ;-)
