If you have some time I would take a look at the file and see if this drawing could help and also the book might shed light on the part about when the Tucson ring was sectioned off. http://www.sendspace.com/file/8xvqh6 Shawn Alan IMCA 1633 eBaystore http://shop.ebay.com/photophlow/m.html [meteorite-list] Tucson Ring Questions Mike Bandli fuzzfoot at comcast.net Tue Mar 29 19:13:09 EDT 2011 Previous message: [meteorite-list] AD - Meteorites and Thin sections for sale! Does anyone remember this or know where I can find it? Also, I am interested in knowing where, exactly, samples were actually removed from the ring. I have an old woodcut from 1855 that shows the ring in its original state and I notice there is a nodular mass inside the ring that is not present on the current mass. Is this removed portion the source of all the small specimens in collections today?
