The data cited by it's proponents cannot be reproduced by any one else. Sounds like a nice story, but a fictional one. It seems to me, that an impactor large enough to cause extinctions would leave behind some kind of evidence in the form of impactites, either breccias or melt. To my knowledge, no Clovis impactites have ever been found.
