(And actually, as Kreutz comets go, it's a pretty bright one!) Of course, *all* Kreutz- amily comets are pieces of one giant original comet that has fragmented and re-fragmented thousands of times over the centuries. It would not surprise me if there are one or more small fragments trailing Comet Lovejoy that will appear in the coming days.
