Hi Stewart, Sterling -

Chicxulub was the small impact. Another larger fragment of the comet hit at Shiva about 500,000 years later. That was the impact that finally killed off the dinosaurs.

Sterling, could you do a rough estimate of the energy of the Shiva Impact?
Megatons would be fine, or small warheads.
