Carl,

If you feel you need to defend his behavior that is your business. I don't
think he's having just a bad day, he's had a bad night last night attacking
Steve, again and again for something like the 3rd year in a row and also
Jason. There was no need for his crazy and yes, insane comments to David
either. I personally don't care if he's a brilliant scientist, that's no
excuse for his speaking to David, and referring to David as being an
imposter and really being Stevee. He has done that to other people claiming
they aren't who they say they are and that they're pretending to be someone
else. He has done that several times and that is just plain crazy.

If you're insinuating that he's having a bad day because he's having some
problem then he shouldn't be posting at all. You keep your opinion and I'll
keep mine. I'm standing up for others, what are you doing? You're writing me
to say I'm wrong . I'm standing up and telling him to leave others alone and
telling Art he shouldn?t be allowed to do this. He has been warned many
times. I stand up against the bully, but I guess that you are on the side of
the bully and may be a bully yourself.

Is this what this really boils down to?

Brian,
Elton happens to be a brilliant scientist and is a very well respected
member of the meteorite world and this list. When he is feeling better he
offers countless benefits to this list.
You obviously upset him with your unsolicited comments but, I would say that
your 99.9 % number is in and of itself insane.
Did Elton have a bad day? Yes. But that is all. We all have these days.
