It might be an undetected meteorite crater. > m42protosun These are igneous (volcanic) intrusive syenite, gabbro and granite structures about 230 to 140 million years old. You can actually see several of them as circular of elliptic structures in that area. They are roughly distributed on an old fault line perpendicular to the Red Sea. See a.o.: H?hndorf et al.
