In fact, when it comes to being 'superior' (not as in alien), all you need is to have a good case of ADHD. A good portion of the top sports stars, actors, millionaires, billionaires and a number of meteorite enthusiasts, among others, are clinically diagnosed as having, or not diagnosed, at having this 'gift'. I personally think ADHD as a 'gift' because one can accomplish one hell of a lot, as long as they can stay focused! ;-) "Look at that shiny thing, gotta go!"
