"This Loupe will take you to a new level of viewing your meteorites and you
will spend hours of looking over your meteorites and seeing new insights
that you haven't been able to see with a 10x Loupe."

No doubt, Shawn. Occasionally, I get my 20/40x stereo microscope out and
look at my newest specimens. It's an entirely different experience, with
amazing details leaping out from hiding.

Linton and List

Sorry I should have posted this link to the Mini 60X Jeweler Loupe
Magnifying Glass Microscope LED.

This is the model I have and the optics are great. The image is crystal
clear as long as your able to view the meteorite on a parallel plan. With
this model your able to rest it on the meteorite slice or jem jar to view
it. I also hold my meteorites and I am able to view them that way through
the mini Loupe. There are two light setting and both setting give great
light to view the meteorite.

When viewing my Allende with the 60x mini Loupe I was amazed by the amount
of structure I was able to view on the surface of the meteorite. I would
have to say it look like I was viewing the surface of foreign planet in some
spots of the meteorite. This Loupe will take you to a new level of viewing
your meteorites and you will spend hours of looking over your meteorites and
seeing new insights that you haven't been able to see with a 10x Loupe.

Shawn,
How are the optics in that?
Of more concern though... How on earth can you hold it steady enough? I can
barely steady my 10x loupe.

Hi Elizabeth, Carl, and Listers

Elizabeth I wouldn't suggest you sneeze on meteorites. Please take a look at
this image of why would shouldn't sneeze on meteorites....

Carl I swear by this product because I own one that its the best for its
price and size to view micros to surface textures of your meteorite...
