If I was going to sell a meteorite hunting kit on eBay like the guy on eBay that you commented on I would say screw the walking stick, that's child's play.? ? My kit would have a?MINELAB GPX 4500 METAL DETECTOR, a Trimble ms750 GPS Base Station & 5800 Rover Receiver, a Nikon D3X Digital SLR Camera with a 70-200mm lens, a life time subscription to MAPS, and for the adventurous, a?2006 Fleetwood American Eagle 42B motor home for those long hunting trips. ? Buy it now or make an offer?$450,000?? ? Or I can go for the kit the guy is offering on eBay. From?what I can tell, it looks good to me, I wish I would have thought about it first. Plus its spring time, lets get out?and look for some meteorites :) ? Shawn Alan? ? ? [meteorite-list] Now you can be a Meteorite Man! Everyone is jumping on the band wagon to make a little cash.? It doesn't bother me a bit, because if you want to get into any venture or start a new hobby, you should do research on it first so you don't get taken advantage of.? I just wonder if this person has ever hunted a meteorite before? Perhaps he has, but marketing and sales may be his true hobby.
