Which "North American event" are you referring to?

Based on its nano-diamonds, Bill Napier has identified Tagish Lake as a piece of Comet Encke, and placed responsibility for the YD impacts with Comet Encke. His paper may be seen at http://cosmictusk.com.

Given this, I do wonder what the hell NASA was doing hitting a piece of it with a BB. Trying to destroy the evidence?
