Kind of reminds me of an old joke. What did the earwig say when it fell out of the tree? Ear wi go again Cheers John Oops, I forgot.. This is for you Richard Sent from my rotary phone, up a telegraph pole, on the I-15 somewhere between California and Nevada -----Original Message----- From: meteorite-list-bounces at meteoritecentral.com [mailto:meteorite-list-bounces at meteoritecentral.com] On Behalf Of Richard Kowalski Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 2010 3:45 PM To: Meteorite List Subject: [meteorite-list] Device Signatures I promise I'm not in a grumpy mood today, but Al's post reminded me of another thing I'm curious about. Why do people leave the default signature on their wireless devices? Do they believe I really care that they are using a Blackberry, or an Android, or an iPhone or whatever? Do they get a discount from their provider by sending out this advertisement with every message sent? Or is it that they just can't be bothered by changing it? Not directed at anyone in particular. I just don't understand the desire to provide free advertising for companies I have no involvement with. To me, that is "Silly"! :) -- Richard Kowalski Sent from my work laptop, a Toshiba Satellite L305D with an AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core QL-64, 2.1 Ghz processor, using the Firefox 3.6.3 web browser over Vista Home Premium ______________________________________________ Visit the Archives at http://www.meteoritecentral.com/mailing-list-archives.html Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-listReceived on Wed 16 Jun 2010 09:19:38 PM PDT |
