Dear List members,

I would like to offer some slices of the nice L5 Chondrite Mount Tazerzait.
A single stone of 110kg fall at August 21 1991 in Tahoua / Niger
Mount Tazerzait is one of the rare porous Meteorites. Holes up to 1mm are
visible with the naked eye.
Holes , complete and fragmented Chondrules makes a genesis in micro gravity
possible.

If You are subscriber of MAPS you might remember the article:
 "Incompletely compacted eqilibrated ordinary chondrites"
from November 2009 issue.
In this article Mount Tazezait and it's porosity was exactly examinated.
The porosity is specified with 12,6 % +/- 1,0%

Other meteorites showing similar texture are Baszovka and Tjerebon, Tjerebon
is usually priced at around 30$/g , Baszovka , if available, at 200$/g and
up.

One side is polished, one side is grinded.
