They were introduced by NASA to the Space Center in the early '70's to reduce the pigeon and gull population. Apparently, NASA doesn't want bird crap on it's birds. This little dude can click off 400 kilometers an hour when stooping. Kills kinetically and recovers the prey in the air if it can. Neat bird.
