TM is an interesting pallasite and there isn't really anything that looks like it. Small to tiny round olivine and very translucent honey and lager colored crystals. ---------------------------------------------- Mike Bandli Historic Meteorites www.HistoricMeteorites.com or join us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/meteorite1 IMCA #5765 ----------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Galactic Stone & Ironworks [mailto:meteoritemike at gmail.com] Sent: Saturday, July 10, 2010 8:59 AM To: Mike Bandli Cc: meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] AD: Sena (1773), Thiel Mountains, Many Rarities Hi Mike and List, Wow, the olivines are gorgeous on that Thiel Mountains specimen. I also like the overall rounded shapes of the olivines in that piece. Does anyone know what the largest piece of privately-held Thiel Mountains pallasite is?
