Hi All,

Has anyone seen this article...

http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/4852991.Mars_probe_scientists_in_York_to_exa/

An interesting thing to do but I cannot see how that will help identify meteorites on Mars. As we all know, the atmosphere is much thinner so that fresh meteorites would not be ablated in the same way and older ones that have been found are well weathered/changed by wind blown sand etc.

Anyone else make sense of this?
