This is not an easy image to capture since there is such a huge change in brightness between the sunlit, penumbral and umbral regions of the Moon's disk. Nicely done! --Rob -----Original Message----- From: meteorite-list-bounces at meteoritecentral.com on behalf of Mike Hankey Sent: Tue 12/21/2010 7:12 PM To: meteoritelist; Global Meteor Observing Forum Subject: [meteorite-list] eclipse photos I had a great eclipse observing and photography session last night, but boy am I tired. Photographing an eclipse is a real challenge, but luckily the clouds stayed away for most of the night and everything came together pretty well. I uploaded some of the photos here: http://www.mikesastrophotos.com/lunar/lunar-eclipse-december-21st-2010/ I had a fish eye camera working the whole night, hoping to catch a meteor, but didn't get that lucky.
