For those in the Tucson area, Steward Observatory is starting it's 84th season of lecture series on Monday, September 14th.

Of interest to members of this list is the lecture being given on the 28th by Christopher Cokinos on his newly released book _The Fallen Sky: An Intimate History of Shooting Stars_.
