Although I don't personally have a piece of the BL meteorite, it does appear to be a beautiful meteorite and I've followed the story over the years (and updated my page where I could). Now I could be completely off track here but I think there 'may have' been a second batch after that initial BL batch Dean sold many years ago. I'll cc Dean to this email as maybe he can recall better what material there was and when. I always thought NWA 1685 was the number for this meteorite too but I'm not sure where that came from. Maybe NWA 1685 was one BL individual of 1302g with the others pieces making up the 11.6kg total?
