Dating artifacts is notoriously difficult; dating techniques for organic material are very sensitive to contamination, and geological dating is unreliable (artifacts can easily end up in unexpected strata). Dates are generally determined by looking at lots of examples, so that the statistical uncertainty can be reduced. Taking a very small number of outliers and basing your conclusions on them is generally poor science. What is it exactly that you are suggesting could be the case with meteoritics?
