Regarding the freeland reference I checked my star map program from my freeland location that's where that comment came from. Yes the video is from pittsburge. I've already talked to the lady who took the video and she is sending me a google map with the location / LOS and pictures of the cam. She is a 30+ year astro nut and sounds legit. If you need more info on the York cam, its only 20 minutes from my house. I can go up there and do whatever. I've already taken some pictures directly of the camera and have posted them on the blog. I can get more. One of the things I was thinking about doing regarding the york site is: going up there on a clear night and doing some long exposure photos from right in front of the camera. This would give us the tree line and stars relative to the tree line for the current date. We could then overlay frames from the original york video and have a reference point. Do you think doing this would have any value? Rob are you able to do anything with the safe harbor video? I know its only shadows, but a reputable source has analyzed the video and told me he thinks the video puts the terminus about 2 KM north/NE of the dam. Dirk thanks again for finding this video.
