A couple of questions from the peanut gallery for the Tucson veterans : Not this year, but starting next year I plan to attend each year. We will be staying in our RV. 1) Are there any good national or state parks with camping facilities that someone can recommend? Or do all of these fill up around the time of the show? 2) Are there any private RV parks that are nice and don't price gouge? 3) Are there any good boondocking locations within a relatively short drive of the show? (BLM areas, etc) 4) What are the local laws in regards to dry camping in Walmart parking lots, truck plazas, etc? 5) Will I need some kind of permit to sell in the city or county? Or does one just setup shop and start dealing specimens? Let the roach motels charge what they want, my wife and I will be holed-up in our rolling home. :) BTW, this reminds me, one can rent an RV just the same way one rents a car. Perhaps renting an RV and using it as a rolling hotel room during Tucson might be cheaper than flying in, renting a car and renting a hotel room. Gas costs are down right now, so this might be a good option for some. Michael Blood is apparently doing it, and I will be doing it. :) Best regards and have fun at the show! I'll see you folks next year! MikeG ......................................................... Michael Gilmer (Louisiana, USA) Member of the Meteoritical Society.
