As I just said to someone off-list:

I live in Anderson County, South Carolina (a few counties away from Burke,
Georgia, as you can see on a map.) I also live down a private, unmarked,
ungated dirt road. And in my experience, strangers coming on to your property
almost always are trying to sell you something that you don't want, or take away
something that you do.
