Hello sky gazers,

Pre eclipse sky - 100% clear.
During 1st quarter, half and 3rd quarter phases - Off and on clouds creating
an eerie look to the moon appearing and disappearing through the binoculars.
Final 1/8th or so - 100% clear skies, awesome!!!
After Total Eclipse - Mostly cloudy.

I was able to watch it all from a chair on my front porch, not too bad :-)
I snapped a few photos in hi-res fully zoomed mode and will try to click a
few during the moon's "rebirth". In fact, the color of orange the moon looks
with the last rays of sun beaming upon it reminded me of when you put a
light behind an egg to see the inside. I do not think my digital camera will
do much good but worth the try. If they are somewhat decent I will post a
link to the List. Can't wait to see some of the photos from the pros out
there.

Sorry to hear of those who had unfavorable cloud conditions.

Best regards,
Greg
