I'm not a science fiction fan at all, really, and wouldn't know without first being told what I've written that came from the annals of Star Trek. I think it's great that you're striving for that, as we're all well served in striving for something. Best wishes in your pursuit... My favorite possible (if possible) future societies in SF are post-scarcity, post-singularity ones. So, it may be (is) just a fantasy, but it is exactly the type of world I strive towards and wish to live in. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_scarcity http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=post+scarcity+society&btnG=Google+Searc h&aq=3&oq=post+scarcity http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity ______________________________________________ http://www.meteoritecentral.com Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list Received on Sun 07 Dec 2008 03:59:40 PM PST |
