Jason and List,

Actually Tafassasset matches closely to Renazzo(CR2) w.r.t. oxygen isotopes.

See the paper "TAFASSASSET: AN EQUILIBRIATED CR CHONDRITE"
http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2002/pdf/1611.pdf

That said, subsequent papers do argue that Tafassasset is more like a
Brachinite.
http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2003/pdf/1370.pdf
This paper does go on to say that perhaps Tafassasset is a brachinite whose
parent body was different from most other brachinites and perhaps its parent
body was composed of CR chondrite-like material.

Also see:

Cheers,

Mike Tettenborn
