See the paper "TAFASSASSET: AN EQUILIBRIATED CR CHONDRITE" http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2002/pdf/1611.pdf That said, subsequent papers do argue that Tafassasset is more like a Brachinite. http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2003/pdf/1370.pdf This paper does go on to say that perhaps Tafassasset is a brachinite whose parent body was different from most other brachinites and perhaps its parent body was composed of CR chondrite-like material. Also see: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2007/pdf/2086.pdf Cheers, Mike Tettenborn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Utas" <meteoritekid at gmail.com> To: "tett" <tett at rogers.com> Sent: Sunday, May 13, 2007 9:46 PM Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] TAFASSASSET?
